This whole A.I.G. bonus thing is no surprise it was written into the emergency Bailout bill that nobody had time to read! These A.I.G. bonuses only amount to 165 Million a very small drop in the total bailout bucket for A.I.G. at 170 Billion!!! The Bonus dollars are only, one tenth of one percent of the A.I.G. bailout. Yet all the fuss. If you don't smell an Obamarat you should. President Osama and Tim Geithner, Bawny Fwank, Chris Dodd ALL knew all about this well in advance of you knowing it! This is a manufactured distraction, to keep you looking at the wrong "ball", also designed to foment a class envy hatred toward the rich!

T, consider if she was taking her first ski lesson in the states. I'm pretty sure an instuctor at one of our ski resorts would have insisted she wear a helmet as a beginner. Also, don't you think she would have received better medical care here. I think she'd have been taken to a hospital, by helicopter if necessary, and at least had a skull xray taken. these basic steps would have saved her. I know a few paramedics and they would never have let her go back to her hotel. they would have convinced her to go to a hospital for the xray at a minimum.

Another thing they will do is make the dealer pass on expenses such as backgroung investigations, criminal history reports and test firing of all handguns by either a state or federal agency. the gun will cost you 5 or 6 hundred. The taxes and other things I've mentioned will cost at least a grand. A box of .357 magnums, .45 cal, etc will cost you 50 to 60 bucks after taxes. That will create a black market like never before. They will try to discourage as many as they can with these tactics.

The broohaha about the AIG bonuses is pure politics. These bonuses wouldn't match even one of Ted Kennedy's earmarks (his latest, $126 million, is to preserve his own legacy in Massachusetts). No, this bonus hysteria is meant to deflect attention from the obvious lack of oversight into where this money is going. It does nothing to help the economy. It merely whips up frenzy to elevate our Dear Leader.
On the one hand Obama tells us we will get all the TARP money back and then some. So what does it matter how AIG spends it? As long as we are getting it all back, right? Also, they are sending money to GM. GM then used the money to 'buy out' employee union contracts. Where is the outrage there?

How many of them do you think could answer some basic things like: who is your congressman?? who is your county exec?? who are your state senators?? name one thing Obama did for the good of this country while he was a senator?? Think of this. Obama has ordered the gov't to buy Chevy volt electric cars. Obama doesn't know that 50% of our electricity comes from coal fired electric plants? That's what will power them. This idea is a good one if you build nuclear plants to power the cars. Otherwise, without new electric capacity coming online it will only stress the already brownout prone electrical system. Yes, he wants to upgrade the electrical grid for efficiency but in the end you will need more Gigawatts produced.
Why doesn't he instead immediately order all the Federal cars to be converted to natural gas? We have a plentiful supply of natural gas and we immediately reduce our oil imports. Natural gas is clean (we use it to cook and heat homes, right?) and safe. The Chevy Volt is unproven technology. In my opinion, this venture is just another way to bail out GM and the unions. It's not mean to solve the energy and oil and pollution problem. I'm not against electric cars, just politicized electric cars.

Regardless of climate change we are using A LOT of Saudi and Venezuelan oil. They must be laughing at us every day. OPEC and the Saudi Royal family continues to cut production to "stick it to us". Hugo Chavez sells us oil and is offering bases to Russian bombers. And we with our 'change' president refuse to drill more of our own oil. Refuse to build nuclear power plants and continue to 'believe' solar and wind can have any impact on our energy concsumption. Tilting at windmills!

Unfortunatley, and strangely enough, fear and greed run the stock market and most of our capitalist system. Those two characteristics seem unbecoming, but the fact is they work. When the congress came under the control of the Democrat Party (They are not democratic as previously stated) regulartors (blame who you want) forced banks to make loans which would unlikely be paid back in full. Regulators told the banking system that Fannie and Freddie would pick up their losses. The rest is history. It is my contention that the Republican Party was so weak at the time, the dems were assured a strong nominee for 08 and set the stage two years in advance for a massive take-over of all three branches of government and the financial system.
For those of us who paid attention in high school civics, we know banking and financial regulatory controls are the responsibility of the congress, not the office of the president.
I have witnessed, read, and listened to all the arguments, and can come to no other conclusion. Consevatives, myself included, were duped by intellegent people who do not want the same country I do. I-read

Actually, it started in 1999 with the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933 one of the central pillars of FDR’s New Deal which imposed restrictions on the integration of banking, insurance and stock trading. (Repeal of the Act occurred during the Clinton administration with full bipartisan support). While the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act in 1999 removed a layer of protection for our financial system, it really didn’t cause the problem. At the crux of the current financial crisis are fraudulent bad loans, so-called toxic loans that were bundled in with other loans and sold as mortgage backed securities and held or insured by mega companies like AIG. These toxic loans had FRAUDULENT income and asset disclosures. FRAUD is now, was then, and always has been ILLEGAL. The problem is that this fraud went on for years, en masse, and little or nothing was done about it by the Bush administration, (despite being identified as a problem as early as 2001). The regulations were always there to deal with the problem, but the regulations were not enforced because regulatory oversight was gutted by Bush, a hall mark of his administration. Gutting regulatory oversight was Bush’s way of deregulation and it occurred across the board, from inspecting for toxic toys from China to testing our food and medical supply. The Bush administration put government watchdog’s agencies in the dog house and free markets ran amuck, resulting in toxic toys and loans. Now the insurance mega-giants like AIG, who have insured many of the mortgage backed securities with hidden embedded toxic loans, could fail resulting in a chain reaction that would collapse the economy without a government bail-out. Smart money knows the magnitude of the crisis and this is why the stock market is crashing, not because of the Dem's. Thanks to Bush’s failure to regulate, the American taxpayer is now the insurer of last resort and we prop-up AIG with billions and counting. While there is plenty of blame to go around for our current situation including repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act, Bush’s failure to regulate and oversee the free market is at the heart of the problem.

I feel blessed to have experienced living in a socialist, communist country for 4 1/2 years. In East Germany (1970-1974) consumers shopped at state owned stores which received a daily ration of goods based on local population. The woman of the house shopped for food daily because there was no refrigeration at home for meats, etc. I witnessed the lines outside these shops as blackmarketeering went on behind the building. He has a show on Friday March 13 at 5 pm he's asking his audience to watch and invite as many like minded individuals to watch with you.Many people accross the country are gathering in groups together on that date. 1:49 PM I'm happy as a clam in my current situation, not "miserable". What makes me happy? Knowing that sinse the age of 15 I have worked for a living and paid my own way all the way to 65. When I couldn't afford a house that I wanted for my family, I built one using the lessons of labor I learned over 50 years. Any loans I took out were paid off within 5 years. We used to call that being responsible.

I would bet a lot of money that if you lined up 100 people who voted for obama you might get 3 who could tell you one thing they think he did for this country as a senator which impacted the country in a positive way. 99 of them didn't know his middle was hussein until the inauguration. 98 never heard of tony rezco or george soros and 95 probably don't know who rev wright is. if you want to check out the ignorance of the people who voted for him you can search you tube for a piece howard stern did a week or so before the election in nyc. face the facts, while bush was in office the dow went from 9000 to 13000. my retirement acct blossomed. as soon as the dems took control of congress the dow steadily declined. a democratric congress is poison for the nation. add in the fannie and freddie mess, which was mostly caused by the dems who overlooked all the nonsense because they were in up to their necks, and you can figure out why we are where we are now. just look at the stimulus plan they concocted. loaded with pork to fund all there little pet projects that in no way will grow the economy. that is why I keep stressing the importance of maintaining a balance in power. I hope that not a single republican senator votes for this plan. lets the dems crash and burn on their own.
But all of that "excess liberal growth" was under REPUBLICAN presidents.
